We told you about the new technology from Bluestacks that will allow users to run any Android app on any Windows machine a few months ago. Well, now that technology is live, and available to download right now.
Basically, the technology works to allow you to run what is essentially a virtual version of Android without having to dual-boot the OS on your Windows machine – this means you can run it right inside the Windows environment, allowing you to multi-task and share data and information back and forth between Android and Windows with ease. Other uses would be to download and test apps before sending them to your phone or tablet, or for developers, to see exactly how the app will work without having to move it back and forth from the computer to the testing phone.
The app is officially in Alpha right now, and is free to download. It is only for Windows, however, the company is working on a version that will allow Mac users to have the same benefits in the future.
