Pros
- Fast paced & challenging time-waster game with a bit of strategy involved!
- A twist on bubble blasting games!
- Many achievements to unlock among a few challenging gaming modes!
- Match your high scores online.
Cons
- Not to be mistaken for a game of bingo.
Features:
Okay, Bin-Glo may not have true and traditional gaming mechanisms of bingo, the only real similarities they have in common are the random number calling aspect, but don’t be disappointed as this game is a fast paced bubble shooter with a variety of twists. The goal is to get all of the bubbles along the top row by using the spring to fire a ball at them before time runs out. There are two many gameplay modes; Classic and Maze, the latter makes it more challenging by placing walls in your way.
As mentioned this goes beyond your typical bubble shooter game as you can strategically use the ricochet of the ball to target bubbles, the number of bounces the ball pings before hitting a target equals the multiplier score for bonus points. You are presented with a few obstacles like Fireballs which cut a third of your time off so avoid them (however a bit a strategy would suggest to use them to your advantage to move bubbles around if you have the time to spare.) Though if your bubbles get stuck in the corners perhaps, you can shake the device to shuffle bubbles. You do get power-ups like the Golden bubbles which boost you when you’re in a time crunch, so get them. As you progress levels and reach each fifth level you have to square off your speed of recognition and bubble popping skills against the mysterious Shadow. Lastly, you can rank your chops in the online leader boards with OpenFeint.
Bin-Glo keeps interesting gaming with the inclusion of so many achievements to unlock and the slew of Crazy Modes which puts a special spin on the game. Below are a brief description of all those available:
- Dancefloor – bubbles don’t stop moving.
- Portal - bubbles and balls can teleport anywhere on the screen.
- Cross-eye – bubble numbers are reversed, i.e. 12 turns into 21.
