Pros
Cons
Bedside Android App is a simple bedside clock application displaying time, date and battery strength. There a many settings to set alarms, add a background, and a change clock font/color plus add background glow. The clock is dimmed and provides a mobile version of your classic alarm clock . You can even hear the current time by long pressing the clock (provided you have Text-To-Speech Library installed).
Assuming the charger plugged in, it can be useful as a flashlight at night and for killing sounds and vibration from Android notifications (i.e. texts, emails, app notifications, etc). Makes for quick glance at the time at night.
The app is simple, tapp the Menu button for more settings.
If used, could possibly be used nightly.
The user interface features the time, date and flashlight options. You can customize the font and color of the clock.

Hi, thank you for the review.
I wouldn’t say using the default alarm is a cons, since it works, and for me, is important not to reinvent the well. Other clocks use their own alarm that only triggers the alarm if you have the clock open, what if you forget to open it?
In the near future, there will be an update with so many new features. This will include weather-at-a-glance, Screen Off (with a touch to see feature), Calls/SMS Whitelists for notifications as well as a way to see if the default alarm is active and what’s the time of the next alarm.
Thank you guys!
Daniel,
I have an app, “Bedside”, which turns off notifications yet leaves the phone ringer on for incoming calls…Just in case of an emergency call. When I turn on Bedside, it also turns on Shush, an app that quiets the ringer for a selectable period of time. Seems like a conflict here. I love Bedside AND Shush. But they don’t seem to play well.
Thanks!
use this with app alarm pro and you can stream pandora to the alarm to wake you up…i use this nightly and love it……..would like to see the weather included in future updates…like to know when its cold after waking up.
Yes! I’m working on this for version 3.1, it was supposed to show up for 3.0 but I didn’t have the time, sorry the update to 3.1 has been slow. Thanks!

I purchased bedside as it showed that can be used in portrait. I have a Inc 2.2 & it goes to landscape which I don’t like. Is there a way to set a preference (I couldn’t find one).
