Beautiful Widgets are well… just beautiful! The set of Android home screen widgets resemble the impressive UI of the HTC Sense available on the HTC Hero phone. The set includes a larger 4×2 and 4×1 smaller clock and weather widget with options to set your location. Tap the weather icon to open a cool animation of your current weather conditions. Which battery widget is that, I been looking for it for weeks.

@Android Tapp, That’s what I thought. I just wanted to be sure there wasn’t anything I was doing wrong with the widgets and internet search was turning up blank. I got a refund until this supports home replacements. I’m currently using aHome and do not wish to switch back to the default home client. BTW, does the default home support a “dock”? That’s the main reason I’m using aHome. I only have 3 screens (which default offers) but its the dock that’s most useful to me (using Blue iphone theme).

works with open home for me!
it works with OpenHome for me too, although it drains the hell out of my battery. I refunded because of that.
Drained my battery from 100% in the morning, to almost 75% within 2 hours.

Hi I purchased your widgets for my new Motorola Droid, however I can’t seem to get the widgets to change to yours. I get the clock and weather o.k. Also, is it possible to enlarge them? That is my one problem with this phone. Thanks….If this isn’t compatible with Motorola Droid can I please get a refund. Thanks again….Alisa

Also, you have 24 hours to return the app for full refund.

I’m not 100% positive, but I think this app crashed my Hero software. After I downloaded it the UI started running really laggy and was taking much longer than usual to execute commands. I got the battery indicator window on my home page and after that nothing seemed to work right up until the UI crashed and HTC had to show me how to hard reset my phone to bring it back to factory settings. I will NOT be downloading this app again. haha!
Why would you download this on hero software, the Hero has this widget natively, this app is attempting to recreate that widget for NON-HERO android devices, I.E. the droid, which doesn’t run sense UI, but still looks badass with the senseui style clock.
in short, you shouldn’t have been trying to run this in the first place, not the developers fault.

Force close once in a while but great application. And the application dock, the search icon suddenly disappear dont know how to put it back, never downloaded Freshface. It will force close and stay the same until you figure out the way to uninstall Fressface.
I spoke with the developer and Beautiful Widgets should be OK on the DROID (except Bluetooth switch)!
Have you guys thought about created the menu button like the htc hero — where all the widget appear left aligned. That way you can scroll without accidentally starting a program.
I tried to add Beautiful Widgets to my new Droid.
It shows up in my “Applications” file but there is no Icon for it in the pull up menu used to load applications to the screen.
How do I get this to work?

Long-press an empty spot on your screen desktop (make sure there’s room for a 4×2 widget.)

I love this app. It’s like the center piece of my UI.
Request: I would love it even more if you could add moon phases for the night time weather image/animation.
Also, I would like a toggle 1×1 for the pattern lock enable/disable. This is already available from another app… but it doesn’t match with Beautiful Widgets and doesn’t slide.
Anyways, great application. Well worth the money and I recommend it to everyone I know with a non-senseUI android.
I downloaded, works just like the Htc did…except I can’t get the widget to look just as the HTC does with that font. Only 3 fonts are available on this widget and they are weird looking. Please tell me how to adjust settings to look just as the one in the picture above. Thanks!
There’s a new widget in the market called WiFi2BTAutoswitch that can automatically switch between WiFi and Bluetooth based on an origin point and distance threshold using GPS location.
Old post, but thought I’d comment since it doesn’t seem to be mentioned. It was said that this doesn’t work with Home replacements, but I can confirm that it at least works with Panda Home. I installed it today, and it looks awesome.
Also, the developer specifically says it will not work with devices running SenseUI, so if you do that, it’s your own fault.
This widget also works fine with dxTop Home Replacement.

I cant see the Clock and Weather skin on my Homescreen.. have downloaded more skins for both Clock and Weather.. after selecting, clicked on Save and Apply .. but it has no effect on the Homescreen.. pls help..
How do I enable a clock? When I longpress on the screen and click ‘widgets’, I can’t seem to find any Beautiful Widgets clocks. I’ve already downloaded a couple of clocks, but I don’t know how to enable them. Any help would be appreciated!

Love this widget but it is a cpu hog. Really slows down my evo to where its very slow to respond and seems to freeze… Its a 5 star app, but needs some work on improving cpu usage

Purchase from Market, will not download. Can’t get refund. This thing looks nice but gets 1 star for not being able to be used. I will update if this ever gets fixed.
A little late to the party, but I loved the look of the clock in the main image at the beginning of the review, which is also the same screenshot as the first example image.
The first clock at the top appears to be a 4×1 that shows both time and weather. Any chance you recall the skin used for that? It looks similar to Wyte, but when I try a 4×1 with Wyte I dont get the date/location in the bottom left and the temps are right on top of the image, rather than off to the side like yours.
Dude I love this App. It is loaded with so many cool and useful widgets. I think its like number one in the android market right now. I saw it the other day and I really wanted it but my mom wouldnt let me use her credit card, luckily I found a website called http://www.androidandlife.blogspot.com and I was able to download it free there straight from my phone. No I got a pimped out homescreen. I recomend this app
