Beautiful Widgets is a set of widgets with a nice looking design inspired by the HTC Hero interface.
Price: €0.99
Beautiful Widgets are well… just beautiful! The set of Android home screen widgets resemble the impressive UI of the HTC Sense available on the HTC Hero phone. The set includes a larger 4×2 clock and weather widget with options to set your location or one tapp updating weather by your geo location. Weather gives the days high, low and current temperature. Set 12/24 hour format and Fahrenheit/Celsius temperature. There are 3 more 1×1 quick settings toggle widgets for Bluetooth, Wifi and Airplane modes.
The clock/weather widget is static and doesn’t have the card flip and weather scene animations like the HTC Sense UI but works well. Added more widgets to this set will make it even more sweet!
Update: Slight Gripe Alert: Beautiful Widgets can’t be accessed from other home replacement apps like aHome or Open Home (which is a limitation of the home replacement apps as they prefer to use their own Widgets), but can be placed on soon-to-hit-the-Market Open Gesture.

Which battery widget is that, I been looking for it for weeks.
@Judeh That’s from Simple Widget Pack
Does this work with any of the Home replacements? Specifically aHome?
@MS I cannot get it to work with aHome or Open Home ;-(
@Android Tapp, That’s what I thought. I just wanted to be sure there wasn’t anything I was doing wrong with the widgets and internet search was turning up blank. I got a refund until this supports home replacements. I’m currently using aHome and do not wish to switch back to the default home client. BTW, does the default home support a “dock”? That’s the main reason I’m using aHome. I only have 3 screens (which default offers) but its the dock that’s most useful to me (using Blue iphone theme).
No, the default doesn’t support docks
works with open home for me!
it works with OpenHome for me too, although it drains the hell out of my battery. I refunded because of that.
Drained my battery from 100% in the morning, to almost 75% within 2 hours.
Hello,
I added aHome support, and the widget look way better now !
Hi there,
Is any possibilities for me to download this beautiful widget without getting in Market, since I cannot find it there. I JUST WANNA INSTALL BEAUTIFUL WIDGET IN MY MAGIC!!! OMG!
When will this be Droid/Android 2.0 compatible. It currently looks like hell on the Droid’s hi-res screen
Hi I purchased your widgets for my new Motorola Droid, however I can’t seem to get the widgets to change to yours. I get the clock and weather o.k. Also, is it possible to enlarge them? That is my one problem with this phone. Thanks….If this isn’t compatible with Motorola Droid can I please get a refund. Thanks again….Alisa
@Alisa Please note that we are not the developers of this app (See LevelUp Studios http://www.levelupstudio.fr/widgets/weather) You can get their contact email from the Android Market in the “Send email to developer” section of the app description. Also, you have 24 hours to return the app for full refund.

I’m not 100% positive, but I think this app crashed my Hero software. After I downloaded it the UI started running really laggy and was taking much longer than usual to execute commands. I got the battery indicator window on my home page and after that nothing seemed to work right up until the UI crashed and HTC had to show me how to hard reset my phone to bring it back to factory settings. I will NOT be downloading this app again. haha!
Why would you download this on hero software, the Hero has this widget natively, this app is attempting to recreate that widget for NON-HERO android devices, I.E. the droid, which doesn’t run sense UI, but still looks badass with the senseui style clock.
in short, you shouldn’t have been trying to run this in the first place, not the developers fault.
Really beautiful widgets..!
Force close once in a while but great application. And the application dock, the search icon suddenly disappear dont know how to put it back, never downloaded Freshface. It will force close and stay the same until you figure out the way to uninstall Fressface.
I spoke with the developer and Beautiful Widgets should be OK on the DROID (except Bluetooth switch)!
Have you guys thought about created the menu button like the htc hero — where all the widget appear left aligned. That way you can scroll without accidentally starting a program.
I tried to add Beautiful Widgets to my new Droid.
It shows up in my “Applications” file but there is no Icon for it in the pull up menu used to load applications to the screen.
How do I get this to work?
Very frustrating.
Long-press an empty spot on your screen desktop (make sure there’s room for a 4×2 widget.)
-Select Widgets
-goto Beautiful Home.
BAM
I love this app. It’s like the center piece of my UI.
Request: I would love it even more if you could add moon phases for the night time weather image/animation.
Also, I would like a toggle 1×1 for the pattern lock enable/disable. This is already available from another app… but it doesn’t match with Beautiful Widgets and doesn’t slide.
Anyways, great application. Well worth the money and I recommend it to everyone I know with a non-senseUI android.
