Features:
BattleBallz Chaos is an insanely fast pace mutation of good ol’ classic breakout style games yet with good twists to battle against the computer AI, multiple AI’s, or your friend of the same device. There are four game modes; Easy, Normal, Hard and Insane… I suggest trying on the latter as it truly becomes representative of the word. There’s plenty to play… with matches of 10, 20 or 30; plus the AI challenges you to Pong style face-off every fifth round (so don’t forget it, else you’ll feel like me when they easily get the orb past you and you’re wondering why the round was over so quickly.) And of course you socialites can share your achievements on your Facebook page.
The object of the game is to deflect several fast-paced photon balls breaking the protection grid, the battle runs until the protection grid is destroyed. Additionally you’re battling your opponent by getting these photon balls past them. Amidst these scoring goals and speedy gameplay there are a constant slew of hazards such as Power-downs (red in color) which shrink your deflector pad width, Gravity Wells which slows and deflects photon balls if caught in them, and Photo Grabbers which sporadically grab photo balls and send them in any direction. There are also goodies to help you Power-up (green in color) and battle your opponent such as bonuses to freeze your them sending out blasts of ice to temporarily suspend their deflector, Zap Drones are random as they either power you up (or down), the deflector beam comes in handy to deflect any and every orb as it spans the entire width of the game space, plus you have bonuses that increase the width of your deflector pad. Lastly, you can ‘slam’ your deflector by tapping it to make the platform jump, speeding up your photon ball.

Fun Factor:
BattleBallz Chaos can be quite tasty fun as it brings a modern twist on classic brick breaker games. It can, however, be set on Easy mode for a more relaxed gameplay or thrust it to Insane mode for more reflexive challenge. Unfortunately, once you get past that high the game does become a bit repetitive.
Addictive:
The game has this fiendish way to draw you in, especially if the computer AI pwns you in a round… you’ll want your cyber-revenge. I guess the minimum 10 round game setup never allowed me to classify this as a simple time-waster game, as it immersed more time investment.
Graphics:
At times BattleBallz Chaos would feel as one of those fancy 3D intense doohickeys yet still immerses with stunning 2D graphics & backgrounds, smooth physics and stellar effects.
Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:
The techno music track accompanies the game, however, it’s the same one track… a switch up would be a nice addition.
