The simple reason this app requires access to your personal info is that it can and most folks give it willingly. The droid is a Google phone and Google is in the business of collecting as much personal data as it can. Google is probably not trying to take over the world, but whoever does take over the world will be happy to take all the data from Google. Read Google’s privacy policies. We give them the right to keep everything we give them – searches by google, gmail, g-chat… everything. Read the news about Google’s Street View vans invading wireless networks in CT last year. Paranoid? Maybe. Senator Blumenthal (formerly CT A.G.) didn’t think it was so benign. But just research those two things and see if you’re then paranoid too.

Try going into your Google search feature. Then type in whatever app you want. The info will come up and you should find the download button in the info.

using motorolla mt710, barcode scanner does not work. i tried version 3.51, 3.52, 3.53, none of the can decode coes it really works? i wonder wy i cant decode does it need more time? i’ve been waiting fo 3 minutes of scanning, nothing absolutely nothing, no bip no vibrating, no information. can someone help me plz
