I've been a professional writer and editor for the past decade, but my passion for technology has been around since I was old enough to fiddle with the computer. I like to say being a tech geek is an inherited trait, since I can remember my father up with technicians until the wee hours of the morning learning how to use the DOS prompt and fixing whatever went wrong with our very first computer back in the early 80s. Once I was old enough to start breaking things and spending all night learning about them so I could fix them, I happily joined the ranks.
Today, my toys of choice are my PS3, my HP laptop and my Android phone. I've been an Android user since the G1 first burst onto the scene, and I've never looked back. My motto when it comes to my phone is "If it's not broken, I should try fiddling with it until it is so I have an excuse to fix it again." I'm currently running the latest Cyanogenmod ROM, and to write about the platform and combine my passions for writing and technology is a dream come true.
