Jason Norment started with As Seen On Phone Inc. in early 2010. Being exposed to technology at a young age really brought out the desire and drive to become part of such a great company geared towards providing consumers with the knowledge they need to make the best of the mobile devices in their lives.
Here's how it started: Microsoft Windows 3.1 was my entry into the technology field. I was young, bored, and needed something to do. I took a little over a week for me to get the hang of it along with some basic commands in DOS. Essentially, I was hooked. My desire and need to learn more drove my interest into batch programming. In fact, this was the first program I ever wrote:
@echo offecho Hello World
pause
echo Is anyone listening?
pause
:END
Yes, I definitely followed the book I was reading at the time to create that batch application. That's how it all started. My introduction into the world of technology began with a "Hello World". After this feat, I attempted many other "projects" including a developmental (and very alpha) operating system that performed similar to DOS. That project was cut short with the introduction to computer security and web design. I'm sure you can imagine that many experiments later, here I am with Android.
