Features:
AudioLog HD Sound Recorder is… well a sound recorder app. Great for creating audio notes to remind yourself of something, or may to audibly record that epiphany you had one day. I had to actually go looking for a con for this app, which should tell you something. It is a very solid app, that does exactly what it says it does, and the developer has been good about updating when a bug or issue is found.
The app takes audio recording to another level, letting you create projects with multiple recordings, mark favorites, even record in the background while you move on to other tasks. For example, a student could have a project for each class, and record the lectures, starring the ones he or she knows they want to refer back to. All while using another program to take written notes to back up the recordings (assuming they are doing nothing but being studious in class…) Or a business person with multiple projects being worked on could record meetings to make sure nothing is lost or forgotten.
The app records audio at the highest quality your device supports, and you can choose from a variety of formats for it to use, which is a nice touch. You can also share individual recordings or projects, which is really nice for a lot of different applications.

Usefulness:
This is actually an incredibly useful app, allowing you to very easily record, sort and share audio files. If you do anything where you wish you could save a recording of it for reference later, then this is a great app to choose. The ability to continue recording in the background while you do other tasks is a huge pro that adds to how useful this app is in everyday applications.
Ease of Use:
I found it very easy to use this app. It was all very logically laid out, and getting up and running took less than a minute. The app doesn’t have any frills or try to do anything except be a great audio recorder, and it shows.
Frequently Used:
This will depend on what you plan to use the app for, given the huge amount of possibilities. A student would use it in every class, a journalist in every press conference or interview, a business person in every meeting. This is an app you’ll find yourself going back to, especially since the added ability to save multiple recordings into a project, and then share them either individually or as a whole project, really bumps up how useful it is.
Interface:
If I had to pick one con in the whole app, it would be the look and feel. It’s very basic, black background with white text. To be honest, this isn’t a big deal, since it’s laid out very well, and is very easy to create, sort and share any recordings, and that’s the point of the app, not the look and feel. It’s even less important when you use it as a background process.
