Audio Glow Music Visualizer is an awesome music app that displays cool graphics as your music plays. Featuring a number of great looking customisations, it’s a neat feature to have if you use your Android device for playing music on. It works with the music player of your choice and displays the name of the track and the artist in the background. If you like plugging your device into proper speakers and want a cool app to compliment that, this is one to check out.

Pros & Cons:
Pros
- Great visual display!
- The track and artist name is simple but looks great!
- Highly customisable!
- Easy to use!
Cons
- Text sometimes disappears.
Features:
Audio Glow Music Visualizer lets you ‘see‘ your sounds as they play through your device. You essentially see a number of volume bars as they rock along with your favourite tracks. These bars are highly customisable and you can alter the look and feel of them in a variety of different ways. The app features a number of themes to use, but then also more personalised settings. As the music plays the name of the artist and the track glide by in the background. It all looks superb and, if you’re plugged into a proper speaker system or some decent headphones, the effect is awesome.
The app’s settings contains a lot so that you can intricately customise it. You can alter the layout of the visuals, create and save themes, try the default themes available, personalise the bar segments and reflections, predetermine the floating background particles and set to allow zooming and scrolling. You can completely modify the colours used in the app too, including the hue of the track and artist text. Essentially then, it’s a veritable palette of opportunity to configure the look of the application however you like.

Audio Glow Music Visualizer looks great when it works but I did find it doesn’t perhaps perform as consistently as I’d like. I found the animation to be consistent and the bars look brilliant as they bounce along to the music. However, the text doesn’t always display or, if it does, it soon disappears. I have to say that it does work sometimes, but it’s a little hit and miss.
It’s a fun app to have, especially if you use your Android as your primary music player. It perhaps doesn’t add anything- certainly nothing in terms of sound quality as it just goes through your normal music player (you can select which app to play music through in the settings). That said, if you want something more to be displayed on your screen as you play music, this is just great. The images are smooth, vivid and you can alter the look as much as you like. On top of all this, the app is incredibly simple to use with and intuitive and easy to navigate menu system.

Usefulness:
If you want to add some visual element to your music, Audio Glow Music Visualizer does just that- displaying a series of volume bars that pump away with the music. While there’s little practical value if you’re a music purist and if you just plug in headphones and pop your phone in your pocket you’re obviously not going to see the animations but, if you use it in your home- perhaps in a dock- this adds some awesome effects to your sounds.
Ease of Use:
The app is very easy to use and highly intuitive. It’s essentially much like a live wallpaper menu- just browse the settings and configure the look of the animation however you want. There are lots of options so definitely experiment with it.
Speaking of live wallpapers, this app is free but the developer has produced a separate live wallpaper app which is on sale for $0.99
Frequently Used:
Personally, I listen to music mostly with my Nexus 4 in my pocket so the effect is kind of lost on me and the way I use my device. However, as I’m writing this, my device is plugged into my stereo and I’m blasting away some DeadMau5. I’ve launched Audio Glow Music Visualizer and it’s responding beautifully with the beats. So how often you use this app will depend on how you listen to music yourself.
Interface:
The visual screens are incredibly fresh-looking and the animation is excellent. The menu interface is simple, but easy to use and navigate through.
