May 22, 2013 11:37 AM –
Attack of the Wall St. Titan is a fun bug-squishing-style arcade game where you don the metal shell of a giant robot and destroy the greedy bankers who had you built! The game features superb bonuses and power-ups in addition to catastrophic action throughout. The game is free to play and there’s a great engine in it which gets you to remove the in-game ads for free, depending on how well you play!
Price: Free, plus In-App Purchases
Tested on: Nexus 4
Pros & Cons:
- Impressive graphics!
- Action packed!
- Great sound!
- Challenging yet easy to play!
Attack of the Wall Street Titan is a thrilling and energetic action game that sees you squishing wall street bankers, cops, feds and soldiers as you fight against corruption and unfairness. It was meant to be the other way around; you were meant to defend the wall street tycoons and their billions of dollars, however a hacker has changed your programming so now you attack them. The game is essentially a rich and gorgeously executed bug-squishing game chock-full of power ups, enemies and explosive destruction.
The gameplay perspective is that of the robot, looking down on scampering bankers, aggressive cops and gung-ho commandos. Use you powerful taps to crush them where they stand. Vehicles present a greater challenge so you need to wait for the red fist to power up (it really just means pausing for a second) and this creates a more powerful hit. The enemy with literally throw everything at you, so even the early levels are ridiculously stuffed with mayhem. If you like your action games coming at you thick and fast, this is something you’ll really enjoy!
The game is completely free and this isn’t without a catch. You get regular pop up ads at various moments in gameplay, suggesting you download a free game. This then takes you directly to the Google Play Store. Not all apps linked are suitable for kids (I found dating service apps for example, but the content rating is Low Maturity, which is perfectly suitable). These ads are quite prolific and almost spoil the show. I say almost because there is a free way out. Essentially, if you play the game really well, you can earn enough stars to remove the ads altogether.
It s nice alternative to being inundated with IAP requests and spammy advertising without any hope of nice clean gameplay. It’s still a bit ‘in-your-face’ and it would be nice to see a paid-for version, but I like the innovation here. Check out the video below to get a gist of gameplay.

Attack of the Wall St. Titan – Intro
The game is loads of fun, especially if you like busy and engaging action games. There are different locations to fight in, a huge assortment of different enemies and plenty of power-ups and weapons to use. You have to avoid squashing the civilians, which can be very tricky, but it adds to the delight and enjoyment of the game.
Highly! It’s not a game you can just put down. You just have to keep going!
The visuals have a retro-feel to them, but they are fantastically animated and look awesome when everything is exploding in front of you.
Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:
The sound too is first-rate. The game comes with a great sound track and some detailed sound effects.
