ARCHOS GamePad tablet is available in Europe and hits the US in Q1 of 2013. What’s unique about this gaming tablet is the mapping tool app you can use atop other games to “map” your own button configuration to the tablet’s physical buttons and play. If you’re not familiar with this concept, this have the possibility to make more games compatible with it as most games for mobile are not made to depend on physical buttons. The GamePad runs Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), a 1.6GHz quad-core processor & GPU, has a 7-inch touchscreen, 14 physical buttons, 8GB internal storage (expandable to 64GB via microSD card slot), and has a mini-HDMI port for projecting the tablet’s content onto an HDTV. Thoughts on buying it?
Price: 149.99€
