We got our hands on Appsfire 2.0 before it hits the market tomorrow and wanted to give everyone a preview. In case you didn’t see our review of Appsfire before, let me give a brief overview. Appsfire is a way to discover and share apps on your Android device. Essentially, it takes the content in the Android Market and provides you with ways to filter and discover what works best for you, not just every other user. At a first glance, you can see some big differences:
- App Streams: Want to know what apps had price drops on the Android Market recently? How about the best apps in the US? Want to know what games have Open Feint? You can graphically select to display apps that fit these categories or change them how you see fit.
- Tutorials: When first using the app, it gives you an overlay of information describing how to use each section. This is great for those who may not have known before what Appsfire is or what you can do with it.
I’m sure there’s a lot more to 2.0 and we’re going to dive into Appsfire and provide another in-depth review of this innovative way to discover apps. Appsfire 2.0 will be available on the Android Market tomorrow. You can also get to the app by clicking here. Don’t forget to check out the Appmixes featured by AndroidTapp.com!
