AndroidTapp.com Android App Review:

Pros & Cons:

Pros

  • Backup apps to SD card

Features:

AppSaver Android App is a simple tool to backup Android apps to SD card. Backup one, a few or all apps with a few clicks. Features a “Top 23″ downloaded Android apps with quick links to the Android Market for download (a little biased with appShare as 23rd on the list). Similar to AppManager and remotely comparable to a light weight version of MyBackup Pro.

Usefulness:

Backing up apps to SD card is great for preserving a stable version of an app. Many times developers may release an unstable version of their app or drastically change something like making features once free at cost. With a stable backup on your SD card, you can restore the version. Or if you factory restore your phone this helps retrieve some apps.

Ease of Use:

The app is simple, check one, a few or all your apps to backup to SD card.

Frequently Used:

Meant for occasional use.

Always a good idea to back-up your content, especially when some apps cost $50+ … Is there a limited to how many apps can be backed up or just to the size of the SD card?

  2. Dunkin-Donut says:

So you can start the apps from the sd card???

    • Android Tapp says:

No. You would have to Root your phone to run apps from SD card. AppSaver and others like it only saves the app install file (.APK) to SD card so you can install from it in those cases where needed.
