Pros & Cons:
Pros
- Great design!
- Easy to use!
- Saves you money!
- Lots of configurations!
Features:
AppSales is a must-have app for people that like to download new apps and games- and especially those of you who like to save money where you can. Fire the app up and you get a list of apps that have recently gone on sale. Now, at the time of writing, Google are running their 25 Billion downloads sale and many apps and games are popping up at 25c/25p. All these apps are populating the list at the moment, along with other apps as their prices change.
Maybe you like a bargain, but don’t want the stream flooded with ever price change in the Google Play Store. AppSales lets you set personal preferences so only the kind of apps that are important to you come up. You can filter for category (select between 8 game and 25 app categories), by discount level, minimum downloads and minimum Play Store rating. These help keep your lists free of rubbish apps that just happen to change their prices. The controls are intuitive and blissfully simple to use.
When you look at a app in AppSales it gives you the full Play Store description, image, price history, rating, developer link, video link, other versions of the app and- via ‘Socialize’- lets you like and comment apps. This allows you to make informed decisions on applications and games before you buy them.
In my mind, AppSales is a must-have app. There are a number of occasions where I like an app but think its too expensive for what it is. If the prices of such apps ever drop, AppSales tells me about it. I’ve lost count of the number of great applications that I’ve snapped up on sale through the app. Secondly, the app tells you pretty much immediately when apps go on sale giving your status bar notifications as and when new titles are added to the list.

Usefulness:
If you like downloading and trying out new apps and games- but also have an eye for a bargain, AppSales is a brilliantly useful resource. I generally have a few different app-finder applications on my device and this sits with them as a great resources for not only finding new apps but also saving money.
Ease of Use:
The menus and pages are simple to understand and well designed. Everything is highly intuitive and really easy to use.
Frequently Used:
You can set how often you get notifications in your status bar relating to new sales. Now, as a reviewer and bona fide app fiend anyway, I have this set quite high but you can instead get perhaps just one per day to keep you up to date.
Interface:
The interface definitely has a Holo-style design to it so it looks good and is beautiful to use.
