You can enable droidalone with an sms. It will notify all missed calls on your email or via sms to another number.
The activation is protected by a password.
DroidAlone features are also:
- Customizable automatic sms reply (like an answering machine) .
- Remote contact number picking function through sms.
- Phone location with full address via sms.
Every single function can be triggered using a specific command via sms.
All you need to pre configure is a valid gmail account to be used to send the emails, and a password that you need to use to send commands via sms.
Missed calls received before activation are notified as well.

App Permissions Requested:
- Full Internet Access: Allows an application to create network sockets (including access for Ads.)
- Read Phone State And Identity: Allows the application to access the phone features of the device. An application with this permission can determine the phone number and serial number of this phone, whether a call is active, the number that call is connected to and the like.
- Coarse (Network-Based-Location): Access coarse location sources such as the cellular network database to determine an approximate device location, where available. Malicious applications can use this to determine approximately where you are.
- Receive SMS: Allows application to receive and process SMS messages. Malicious applications may monitor your messages or delete them without showing them to you.
- Read Contact Data: Allows an application to read all of the contact (address) data stored on your device. Malicious applications can use this to send your data to other people.

“For an app you might only ever use a few times, DroidAlone is an incredibly useful app. Letting you access information about your text messages and missed calls remotely is a deeply helpful function and could really come in handy if you accidentally leave your phone somewhere. The app is relatively easy to configure and, while the UI is quite basic, it's just the kind of app you could install and completely forget about until you need it. This is a paid app, and while some people might just be happy to wait until they get home, but if you need that access it's worth every penny.”
