In a Q3 2010 report the Neilsen Company released shows Apple’s iPhone is leading in the U.S. smartphone market share (28.6%), Rim’s Blackberry tanking to (26.1%), and Google’s Android rising to (25.8%). However from Jun 2010 to November 2010, Android is the most popular choice of smartphone owners at (40.8%). The variety of carriers and devices would attribute to that surge, and I’m confident Q4 2010 statistics will show Android dominate.
