AppBrain, the Android market alternative, today has launched AppBrain Streams, a personalized feed of application-related news and information.
The new stream will include information about what apps friends are installing or uninstalling, it will provide a personalized recommendation list, it will allow you to give reviews and follow specific reviewers to see what apps they like and don’t like, post and follow discussions about apps to your friends and followers, and provide announcements about apps you already have installed on your phone.
In addition, Streams is making app sharing more social; allowing users to comment, like or share any post or app in their stream, as they would on Facebook or Google+. And Facebook and Twitter accounts can now be linked to AppBrain, so you can follow friends who use both sites. According to AppBrain, the company is looking to “bring social app discovery to the next level” with this launch.
