AndroidTapp.com will be giving away a New T-Mobile G1 cell phone (a $450 value)! Plus Free shipping as well. Why are we giving this away? Why not… our website is geared towards enthusiasts of the Google Android App Market, and the T-Mobile G1 is the first commercially available cell phone for it.

The winner will be chosen at random. Promotion starts Monday 11:59pm CST December 22, 2008 and ends Monday 11:59pm CST January 19, 2009. There are several ways to enter the promotion and win, multiple entries are allowed based ONLY by the criteria below (please read the full promotion details):

My wife wants a Tmobile G1 Phone so bad!!! Christmas has been really hard this year with the new baby and all. I’m going on deployment soon and the Tmobile G1 would be perfect for my wife to email me while I’m gone.

I got my hands on one at a local big box retailer and I have to say, it was much more impressive than an iPhone. Give it a year and Android will the THE smartphone OS.

Please get the Developer Android instead of the Retail G1…anyone can get the G1 for like 179 if they sign up with tmobile which they will have to anyway…the dev version of the phone would be EPIC giveaway!

Thanks for some chances to get a G1. I wrote some games for the G1, but it would really be nice to test and improve them on real hardware. They are ZeptoRacer, MiniSpaceWar, SantasWorldWar, and ZeptoCards.

strange, T-Mobile is from Germany and has a pretty strong market position, also here in Austria…
I’ll wait for the 2nd gen phones however…need a good replacement for my E61, and Android surely looks promising… and for those who remember, Android is the brain child of a former BeOS-employee, who also created Danger (the HipTop)… and the API looks very positively BeOS-inspired (messaging everywhere, open and dynamic, clean and approachable)… hope 2009 will bring Android its deserved position at the cost of the iPhone…,-)

This is a really great promotion I haven’t had the money for a G1 because I take care of someone and pay all the bills (no gifts for me on Christmas) …Hopefully, I can gave some luck and win a G1, it would be the best gift ever!!!

I dont know if anyone can imagine how much i want a G1. been reading about it in dozens of forums including this one and i dont think i will ever be satisfied with another phone. android is the best mobile OS ever limitless potential. i would be so nice if the give out a developer’s phone, i like the design on the back and its already unlocked.
**Important Note** i hope that if they don’t send a developer’s phone that the build number is ‘RC29′ or earlier because if it already ‘RC30′ you can not get ‘root’ access and the limitless potential isn’t so limitless
if i had a G1 i could just hop on twidroid and @reply but i have to go on a computer like a normal person. hope get 1.
If i dont, who ever gets it should get the black 1, the white one isnt all white and the lighting on the keyboard is horrible you can hardly see the keys
