Android Market Surpasses 400,000 Android Apps

According to Distimo, an app store statistics aggregation company, Google’s Android Market has surpassed 400,000 active Android apps; with an estimated 100,000 active publishers. Most, approximately two-thirds of the inventory in the Android Market can be obtained for free- this an eight percent increase since April 2011 due to the success of freemium apps business model, free to download with purchase opportunities within the app. What are your thoughts on the quality of Android apps lately?
