AndFTP has 3 main features: Manage FTP Servers, FTP File Browser, and Device File Browser.
- Manage FTP Servers allow you to manage multiple FTP servers you may have. Simply setup your FTP server credentials. Be sure you set your “Local dir” to ”/sdcard” so you can upload files from your phone with ease. (Remember to check “resume support”. Resume support is a great feature if you’re uploading/downloading and you get disconnected, once you have a connection, the upload/download will pick up where you left off.)
- FTP File Browser allows you to browse files on your FTP server, select one or more for download, you can rename, delete, create folders, and change file permissions.
- Device File Browser allows you to browse files on your phone and SD Card, select one or more for upload, you can rename, delete, create folders, and copy and paste files.

Usefulness:
AndFTP is very useful to those who have an FTP server; people such as: Web Designers, Web Developers, Bloggers, IT Professionals, etc. We found AndFTP very useful for the AndroidTapp.com website, we can manage our files via FTP while mobile!
Ease of Use:
AndFTP is very easy to use. Just setup your FTP server credentials and go.
Interface:
The user interface is simple and easy to use. ListView based like most FTP client software. Gripe Alert: the list items are a bit small, but the touchscreen accuracy is very good, so you only have minimal mistakes. On the bright side, you can see more file items with the reduced item heights.

SFTP support is now available for AndFTP.
SFTP is SSH secure File Transfer Protocol. It adds strong security when transfer files. SFTP is supported by most FTP server (PURE-FTPd, Titan, core FTP server …).
It also supports FTPS (Explicit FTP over TLS/SSL)
Anyone know of any Code editors that run on Android?

- Authentication prompt added to avoid storing FTP login/password on device.
- Sort by name, size and date menu added.
- Cut/Copy/Paste support added for device browser.
- Simple list/List/Details views option added.
- Font size option added.
- Video playback support added (MP4, 3GPP).
- Open file on device bug fixed.
- Recursive folders download bug fixed.
- Cupcake support.
