AndroidTapp.com Android App Review:

Amber Alert Android App is a useful mobile feed for the Android phone. There are not many features other than keeping you updated with information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s website. Information on missing and exploited children are shown in list format with a quick link to the NCMEC website for more information. Although you could simply browse to the website from your Android phone; you could “Long Press” a listing to be directly connected with the local police department should you have information. You can also filter alerts by states and the app checks hourly for updates running in the background. Small Gripe Alert: be aware apps running constantly in the background can add extra battery life strain.
