Amber Alert Android App is a useful mobile feed for the Android phone. There are not many features other than keeping you updated with information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s website. Information on missing and exploited children are shown in list format with a quick link to the NCMEC website for more information. Although you could simply browse to the website from your Android phone; you could “Long Press” a listing to be directly connected with the local police department should you have information. You can also filter alerts by states and the app checks hourly for updates running in the background. Small Gripe Alert: be aware apps running constantly in the background can add extra battery life strain.

Should you Download Amber Alert? Not a must or the most exciting app, but useful for those interested in helping a charitable organization for missing and exploited children.
I’m a fan of this one. I know that there was a big struggle to get this one out. I am glad it is finally out.
