Download music from Amazon MP3 right from your phone. Browse, search, sample, and buy high-quality MP3 files that play on your phone or any MP3-capable device. This Android version of the Amazon MP3 Store lets you discover and download music you love with just a few clicks.
Amazon MP3 Store Android App is one of the coolest in the App Market. Many other Android apps integrate with it; when searching, streaming or playing music you like and want to buy it… such as iMeem and Shazam. The best part is the music is DRM-Free music downloads so you can listen to them on any device without restrictions or extra cost like Apple’s iTunes Store.
Very easy to navigate (almost a no brainer). The app is optimized for Search, Preview and Buy.
Amazon MP3 Store features Top 100 Albums, Top 100 Songs, and Browse by Genre and Search. Top 100 Albums obviously shows you the top albums in Amazon sales, 20 per page. Top 100 Songs shows you the top songs in Amazon sales. Browse by Genre and Search breaks down each genre for easy browsing.
Once you find the song(s) you’re looking for, you can play a 30 second preview right from the phone. Best for confirming your song before you buy.
Using your Amazon account you can easily buy MP3 music from anywhere. Simply tapp the MP3 price once, then tapp “Buy” to confirm and download. There is even a setting to tapp only once and buy if you’ like, a feature called “1-Click® ordering”.
The few gripes we had were the extensiveness of the MP3 library; as some songs were not available yet and the top sales number order; some songs would seem higher rank than others. Also, you should be able to register from the phone, versus opening a separate browser to do so.
Really depends on your MP3 store vendor loyalty. If you enjoy Amazon’s MP3 store, you’ll definately frequent it.
Amazon’s branding is clearly noticable, the buttons and user interface is optimized for mobile shopping.

amazon.com cool man!!!!!!!!
The usability is not that great, e.g.: the requirement to download the the songs via Wifi is broken, I mean the UMTS connection inside the G1 is my primary Internet connectivity.
germany has amazon mp3 now, but this app is not available … wtf amazon?
If I use a JF-ROM and it ISN’T already installed, what Do I do then? Argh…
Registered my language as English, but the selections I am given in Amazon are in Spanish. What gives?
why are the songs 1.29 vice 99 cents….seems too expensive to me.
The added price is because the music is DRM free. Meaning you won’t be restricted on which PC/device you can listen to the songs on. Basically paying a premium to break the copyright restriction legally.
Why don’t I see my purchases in my library? Purchase history shows successful download, no music.
