AK Notepad is a useful Android App for quickly jotting notes and staying organized with notifications
AK Notepad is very easy to use, if your notes list become too long, you can easily Search notes by simply typing the title you’re looking for as it filters.
Gripe alert: When you check “Auto Link” in the Settings menu AND create a multi-line note, there is a slight usability quirk when you revisit the note to to Edit it, you can’t scroll to the point you want to edit easily.
Taking advantage of the “To-Do” capabilities of AK Notepad could make it a frequently used Android app.
The user interface is simple. In the settings, you can change the look of your notes window; colors and lines, etc.

I backed up several notes from AK Notepad on my SD Card, and put the new SD card in my new G1 phone after my old one broke. Now I can’t find AK Notepad on the marketplace. Does anyone know where it is? I’d like to retreave my old notes
@Roy You know those text files can be copied to your computer and open in NotePad. Also, hopefully you can find AK Notepad in the Market. We’ve recently added QR Codes in our reviews so scroll up to the “Post Details” and see the funny bar code? Using an app called “Barcode Scanner”, scan that on your PC with your phone and it should take you directly there. If you’re viewing this page on your phone, simply tapp the QR Code for the same thing.
If you still can’t find it, check if you’re running Android 1.5 or “Cupcake”. Google recently added a way for developer to target the firmware version of Android phones.
I can’t find AK Notepad in the Market Place either. I really want it back. I’ve typed in everything possible in the search but nothing pops up. and I’ve even searched through everything and even by date
I love this program. I’m wondering why “menu-z” doesn’t work as undo. Is there another shortcut that provides that function?
Otherwise, it’s perfect!
