Active.com Launches Android App

Active.com launched a free app that allows users to sign-up for 100,000+ events and activities from their Android device. Android users also have access to over 10,000 Active.com articles, race course maps, the ability to save favorite activities, rate and review races and share information through various social media channels.
Within the app, users can:
- Find and register for activities – Search through 100,000 activities and register directly from your mobile device.
- Read articles from Active.com – Follow health and fitness tips from anywhere.
- Share with your social network – Found a race you want to run with a friend? Share it via Twitter, Facebook or email.
- Save activities as favorites – Add activities or articles to your list of favorites for easy access later.
- Rate and review your race – Do you always forget to leave comments after you run a race? Now you can rate and review any event right from your phone.
