We Android fanboys and gals like to tease the iPhone fanboys and gals. It’s all in good fun, check out our list of 8 Best Android Apps You Can’t Even Think of Using on iPhone:
Google Skymap
Though you can’t get Google Skymap for the iPhone just yet, iOS has Android beat on this one as the alternative Star Walk app pwns with its interactivity and functionality.
Google Maps Navigation
Before you jump the gun and say iPhone does have Google Maps, we’re talking about Google Maps Navigation the turn-by-turn driving, walking and public transit feature atop of Google Maps!
Google Voice
Again, we’re not talking about a mobile web version to see your Google Voice text, calls and voicemail… but the real deal to actually make and receive calls, send and receive SMS text messages and listen to or read transcribed voicemails.
Gmail
Native Gmail app and not the web version is what we’re referring to, although the web-based version offers a lot of features, just not fully featured.
Adobe Flash
One man says dictates Flash will slow phone down your phone so no one can have it.
Well, my iOS friends, you’re missing out on a huge portion of the Web. It’s a reality, the Web has Flash, and to experience it while mobile just as on a desktops is an amazing feature. For example, I recently watched a video webinar with slides without the need for a PC, laptop or netbook.
Multiple Web Browsers
Android offers choice in a host of web browsers, some even offer cooler and convenient features than the default browser and speedier than Safari.
Swype Keyboard
For now at least you cannot get the ultra-fast & sexy typing solution for virtual keyboards known as Swype Keyboard. Maybe Apple will allow it or pre-install it on the iPhone 5?
Personalization
Choice to change your background or personalize your home screen without jailbreaking or buying the latest phone for that matter.
Installs Non-App Store Apps
There’s no easy settings to side load or install apps outside the App Store without jailbreaking. Well this doesn’t hold true for AT&T Android phones as their phones have this feature blocked.
Chime in, do you Android fanboys and gals have more to add? iPhone fanboys and gals, could it simply be refuted by, “I don’t care!“
