4 Pics 1 Word, the app that can claim I’m kinda a big deal these days as everyone seems to be playing this, or variants of the game. If you’re not playing this game, I’m pretty sure you’ve seen folks post the “What’s this?” pics on Facebook, Instagram & G+. It’s a simple puzzle game to guess the word among four pictures that have something in common. For example, a soccer ball in the net, a basketball, a golf ball on a tee and dancing at the imperial ball reveals “ball”, right? It shines in the fact that it’s very easy to pick up and insanely hard to put down. In the higher levels where solving puzzles become an oxymoron of a challenge, meaning, the common factor of the images may sting you, yet once you find the answer you’ll think to yourself, “the answer was simple and right in my face.” 
If you get stumped you can use the game’s currency to remove or reveal letters. You’re given 500 coins to start, or you can purchase more in-app. It costs you 90 coins to remove letters and 60 coins to reveal a letter; use sparingly as you only accumulate 3 coins per round. One thing I think the game is missing is a letter shuffle feature, even a shake of the device to shuffle would be cool. I also wish there were more levels as you can run through them all in a few sittings, if not one.

Fun Factor & Addictive:
Currently these types of games are all the rave in not only Android but on iOS and other mobile systems. They do present genuine simple yet complex fun and are insanely addictive; especially if you play socially with friends.
Graphics:
The game is presented on a textured cloth material background, the images are in a grid of boxes that you can expand if you tap on a thumbnail. There are small animations of your gold coins once you solve a puzzle.
Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:
There are little trinket sound effects if you get a word correct or not, plus you can disable sounds on the start screen if you desire.
