QR codes popping every where as a replacement for URLs, that’s great foresight from the developers. 3Banana Notes is an awesome Social networking companion. Just make a not,e associate a picture or even better… just scan the QR code and socialize. Added to that snappy bar code scanner, you can share your note to a whole slew of other Social Networking sties or even make a QR code of the note if needed. Kudos to the developers and designers for their smart wholesome thinking in chiseling this brilliant app. 3banana Notes will also let you sync your notes on your Android phone or mobile device to their online servers. Using your Google ID, users can sign on to 3banana’s website for reviewing your existing notes or add new notes for later syncing to your mobile device. The screen shots are about the discovery of a solid perfume which was promptly shared with someone with spray perfume allergies.
For note-takers, this is a very handy and efficient tool. The ability to share in real time has some serious advantages. Syncing just brings this app into the realm of corporate style apps where jotting notes is almost the job itself.

Great review… really shows the great qualities of this app. I use it so much.
This is definitely the most versatile note app. I often synch notes between my pc and phone. I can’t say I’d ever use pictures or barcode scanning in the notes, but other than that it’s really nice and smooth.
A widget would defintely be good as well!

Coming from PalmOS, this seem to be the perfect app to replace my “memo” app on the Treo.

Can 3B import Palm notes?
Not Really, but it took me like 10 minutes to move about 150 palm notes to 3banana.

Can you explain the mechanics of copying the palm memos to 3B?
On a regular computer:
1) Open Palm Desktop
2) Open 3banana web interface
3) Select a memo entry from the palm desktop and ctrl-c (or right-click &
copy)
4) go to 3Banana web interface and ctrl-v (or right click & paste)
As I said, it is not the fastest way, but if you have fewer than 100 memos then this can be a one time operation of about 10-20 minutes.
