Features:
360 Live is an excellent application for connecting your Xbox Live Account to your Android device! 360 Live allows you to message other Xbox Live users from the convenience of your Smartphone, view your gamercard and other’s, view your games and friends list, as well as view a list of the Xbox current game catalog.
Designed to be an easy way for you to keep connected to your Xbox Live account, even when you are out of the house. The application is easy to use and designed to allow you to keep in constant contact with other players and to monitor both your gamer points and other players. To initially get in to your Xbox Live account you will need to provide the email address that is associated with your gamertag as well as the password to your Windows Live Account.
Once you are logged into the application you are able to see what members of your friends list are currently online. Those online players are displayed at the top portion of the screen while offline players are displayed at the bottom. You can then click on a player’s gamertag in order to gain more information about them or click on your own in order to see your own stats and gamercard.
When you click on a player’s gamertag you are presented with the same coverflow gamertag display that is shown on an Xbox 360. This allows you to see a player’s game list, achievements, profile, and friend’s list. This allows you to keep track of your own in-game achievements and investigate other players when you are away from your Xbox.
Perhaps the most important feature of 360 Live is that it allows you to message other Xbox Live players through the application’s interface. If you are running late for a clan gaming session, are unable to get your Xbox working and wish to communicate with a friend, or just prefer to type messages on your phone instead of with a controller this gives you an easy way to communicate with other players anywhere you want in a more convenient fashion. Instead of typing messages one character at a time with a controller you can utilize your smartphone’s keyboard to type a quick and concise message.
Finally, 360 Live allows you to see a full game catalog of all the games for Xbox 360 from the convenience of your smartphone. You are able to see all the games available for this platform and a brief description from within the interface of the smartphone application.

Usefulness:
360 Live is extremely useful if you are seeking to have access to many of the features of Xbox Live from your Android phone. Many of the features that are incorporated into Windows Phone 7 and Xbox Live are available through this application at a minimal cost, and the app allows you to message other people on Xbox Live without being anywhere near your Xbox. I have been able to use this it on a few occasions to help me get in touch with others when I was supposed to play a game, but was not able to get on to my Xbox.
Ease of Use:
360 Live is very easy to use and the it has grown significantly better since I first began using it. Initially the application did not have such a streamlined interface and did not have the detailed gamercard view that it currently sports. The developer have tweaked it significantly since then to improve the user experience.
Frequently Used:
I used to use 360 Live very frequently when I had more time to play video games. Currently I only use the application a few times a month just to see if I have any Xbox Live messages from friends; and if I do- then I would reply to them. This application would be much more useful for an avid gamer on Xbox 360.
Interface:
The interface for 360 Live is flawless. It does an excellent job imitating the friends section on an Xbox 360 and perfectly mimics the console’s gamercards. The application also provides you all of the same information about your friends as you would receive on a console when accessing their player profile and game playing history.
Messaging is easy to use and 360 Live can even generate notifications for the user to easily see when another player is trying to talk with them on Xbox Live. I prefer messaging from the comfort of my phone over messaging on a console because it makes it much easier to type out long messages to another player.
