Features:
Puzzle fans come in all shapes and sizes. Many like word games, enjoying the thrill of discovering long words in the lines of a large grid, while others like to tackle physics-based platform games with stars to collect or buildings to demolish. Some like to play Sudoku or construct Apparatus to solve a problem… There is another breed that enjoy brain-busting logic puzzles which push the user to the edge of sanity with clever riddles. Such people like games like The Moron Test or Impossible Level Game and thrive on the need to outwit each level. Into this cunning sub-genre steps 100 Floors.
Simply stated, you need to climb the floors in an elevator, with each level posing a different challenge to solve in order to open the elevator doors and press the green up arrow. Level one is of course, pretty easy. Tap the green up arrow on the right to open the door. Level two requires you to move the little trash can, collect the green arrow, then place it in the right place…. and so on. As you progress, level becomes more and more testing and often utilize other elements of your device- such as the accelerometer or volume keys. This therefore requires the gamer to use lateral thinking to solve each ingenious puzzles.
There are currently 40 levels in the game, so this is likely to grow (probably to 100 I imagine). You can continue each time you enter the game- which takes you to the level you left, or you can revisit levels you have already completed. The graphics are very slick and look good. Each level seems to have a different theme and every puzzle is very different from the last. The game is also free and only contains very discreet advertising. If challenging puzzles are your thing… this is definitely for you!

Fun Factor:
If you like logic puzzles, you’ll love this. The aim is incredibly simple, but solving each level requires some serious thought and wit. With 40 levels to tackle, it’s lots of fun and should keep most users occupied for a good while… at least until new levels come out.
Addictive:
Highly! Because each level presents an entirely new puzzle to solve, and you’re slowly progressing upwards in an elevator, it makes for oddly compulsive gameplay. Often answers are ‘easy if you know how’, so getting that answer is very absorbing.
Graphics:
The graphics are well designed and unique to each level. The level choosing screen is a slick-looking elevator control, letting you select the level you want to try. Pretty cool by all accounts. Design aside, the visuals are relatively basic, simple animations and nicely developed backgrounds.
Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:
I’ve not encountered much sound to be honest, but I have a feeling there might be some in later levels… I’m up to level 30 myself, but doing well. There is definite need to use the accelerometer… so bear that in mind if nothing is working for you on a particular level!
